our classes

Our regular classes include Circus Foundations, Umbrella Circus, CircusFit, Circus Extensions and our newest addition, Tadpole Circus.

CIRCUS FOUNDATIONS

Our Circus Foundations program teaches kids aged 6+ the core circus skills of juggling, twirling, climbing, hanging, tumbling and balancing in readiness for circus performance.

Classes are run on Saturday during the school term in the Ken Roberts Pavilion at the Ipswich Showgrounds.

UMBRELLA CIRCUS

Our Umbrella Circus program has been specially designed by occupational therapists, circus trainers and psychologists to meet the needs of kids who are on the Autism Spectrum or who have special abilities.

Classes are run on Saturday mornings during the school term in the Ken Roberts Pavilion at the Ipswich Showgrounds.

CIRCUSFIT

Circusfit! Designed for ages 4 and over. This program offers a unique pathway to fitness for both the young and young at heart. Proudly supported by Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich, Circus Fit offers dynamic, all inclusive, circus inspired exercises.

Classes are run on Thursday afternoons during the school term in the Ken Roberts Pavilion at the Ipswich Showgrounds.

CIRCUS EXTENSIONS

The Extensions Program is designed for students with prior circus experience who are ready to build on their existing skills and take them to a more advanced level.

The class focuses on refining technique, increasing strength and flexibility, and mastering more complex movements across various circus disciplines. 

This program is ideal for those who are committed to deepening their practice and are prepared for the physical and creative challenges of higher-level circus training.

Prerequisites: prior experience in circus, gymnastics or similar. Please email to discuss readiness for this class.

TADPOLE CIRCUS

Our Tadpole Circus program is for Tadpoles, aged 12 months to 4 years, and their big frogs (aka their adult caregiver).

This 50 minute class will keep our littlest circus stars engaged from the start. Spinning hula hoops, climbing skills, tumbling on mats, juggling scarves and juggling balls, climbing on balance chairs and so much more.

Class format:

  • Saying hi and warming up
  • obstacle course
  • working as a team
  • check out and saying bye.
